Terms of use

Version 2026-09-14

  1. We are a notice board. RideOn lets riders post trip requirements and cab drivers/agencies ("cabbies") bid on them. We do not provide transport, own vehicles, employ drivers, or take payment for rides. Any trip you agree is a direct arrangement between rider and cabbie.
  2. No verification. We do not verify driving licences, vehicle documents, insurance, background or the sobriety of any cabbie, nor the identity of any rider beyond an email/mobile check. A "Verified" badge means our team has looked at documents the cabbie chose to show us; it is not a guarantee. Check documents yourself before travelling.
  3. Your own risk. You use contacts and trips found here at your own risk. RideOn is not liable for accidents, delays, no-shows, damage, fare disputes, or any loss arising from a trip arranged through the board.
  4. Fair play. Post real trips and real bids. No spam, no fake ratings, no harassment, no sharing of contact details inside bid messages (they are exchanged automatically when a bid is accepted). We may remove posts and block accounts without notice.
  5. Ratings. Riders may rate a cabbie after the trip date. Ratings must reflect the actual trip. Cabbies may report unfair ratings for review.
  6. Contact details. By posting or bidding you agree that your name and mobile number will be shared with the other party when a bid is accepted, so that you can arrange the trip directly.
  7. Fees. Posting and bidding are free during the pilot. If we introduce fees (for example to unlock a contact or feature a bid) they will be shown clearly before you pay.
  8. Law. These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will be resolved by courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
